Although I did not win the primary election, my campaign continues. I am dedicated to the cause, and cannot rest until I'm assured that my children will have the opportunity to enjoy a bright future in this country. I will be redesigning my website soon and moving to jeremiahellison.com, where I will continue to write my opinions about current issues and build up my campaign for 2010.
I ran a tight campaign, spending around $3,000, and all but about $40 of it was my own money. For sure, I didn't get very far, but I did very well on only $3,000. I will need a great deal of support from the people for my campaign in 2010, volunteers and donations, which I didn't have in 2008. With your help we can do this. It's not too early to start, we have a lot of work to do.
Some of my supporters are calling for an independent run. I'm not altogether against this idea, but I would need to see a great amount of support, grassroots and donations, before I could make such a decision. I can file for an independent run as late as August 1st. If you would like to see me run independent, please email me to volunteer and/or donate what you can to my campaign ASAP.
I also love to hear from people about the issues. If you would like to tell me about your opinions, write to me at
or my home address on the contact page.

Introduction
My name is Jeremiah Ellison. I'm a 29 year old resident of Grand Island, Nebraska. I have worked at J.C. Doyle Ltd. in Grand Island for 4 years as a computer programmer. I am married, with 1 child and 1 on the way.
I am very concerned about the future of our great country.
On March 3rd, 2008, I filed as a Republican candidate to the House of Representatives for the 3rd district in Nebraska. I am challenging Adrian Smith, the incumbent. The primary election will be held on May 13th, 2008.
Without challenge, democracy fails. Without choice, the people cannot speak. Without contest, our leaders may grow complacent. And without action, we jeopardize our future.
I work a full-time job and I'm running this campaign in my spare time, without the help of anyone but family. If you wish to join my campaign, you can write to me at
and tell me what you can do.
