Introduction

My name is Jeremiah Ellison. I'm a 29 year old resident of Grand Island, Nebraska. I have worked at J.C. Doyle Ltd. in Grand Island for 4 years as a computer programmer. I am married, with 1 child and 1 on the way.

I am very concerned about the future of our great country.

On March 3rd, 2008, I filed as a Republican candidate to the House of Representatives for the 3rd district in Nebraska. I am challenging Adrian Smith, the incumbent. The primary election will be held on May 13th, 2008.

Without challenge, democracy fails.  Without choice, the people cannot speak. Without contest, our leaders may grow complacent. And without action, we jeopardize our future.

I work a full-time job and I'm running this campaign in my spare time, without the help of anyone but family. If you wish to join my campaign, you can write to me at and tell me what you can do.

Campaign Updates

Although widely rumored to be unsinkable, the Titanic was not spared.

May 13: Primary Election

Although I did not win the primary election, my campaign continues. I am dedicated to the cause, and cannot rest until I'm assured that my children will have the opportunity to enjoy a bright future in this country. I will be redesigning my website soon and moving to jeremiahellison.com, where I will continue to write my opinions about current issues and build up my campaign for 2010.
